C Div finals!

Hello ppl. I know probably no one ever comes here anymore, and that this blog is probably alr forgotten, but anw, I just wanna update abt the C Div finals today!

Results of C div finals:
MGS lost to SCGS 1-4.

Even though we didn't manage to get the C Div championship title this year, I'm still really proud of all of y'all who played today! I can tell that all of you had tried your best in your matches, and that's what matters most. If you had believed in yourself and fought all the way throughout the match, that's something to be proud of too. It's not only about winning the championships, it's also about the process of playing the match. If you'd put your heart and soul into the match then you're already a champion, regardless of the outcome of your match.

Juniors, keep working hard to improve in Squash! And to the sec 1s in the team, train hard and get the 2010 C Div championship that y'all deserve all along! =D

Tmr is the B Div finals! No matter what the line-up is tmr, I just pray that the ppl playing tmr would always believe in themselves, and also in God, that he will be by your side throughout your match, supporting you as you play. And even if the line-up is to our disadvantage(TOUCH WOOD), I pray that all of them would play their best and not get discouraged even when it seems like it's impossible to win, because there's no such thing as impossible to win. It's all in the mind. If you think you can, YOU CAN. If you think you can't, you can't.

Fight for every PRECIOUS POINT,

I know this is kinda late, but Happy New Year!

Just wanna wish everyone all the best in their studies and in squash. Good luck to all for getting into the top 7 positions in the team. If you didn't get into the top 7 this year, that's ok. Be it the top seed or the not so pro mgsquashie, you're ultimately an MGSquashie! Always part of the team :D Don't be disheartened and train hard to get into the top 7 next year if you can't make it this year!

WE WILL GET THAT DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIPS! Believe in yourselves :]

Congrats people! I'm so proud of you all, you all played so well!

Results:

Mgsquashies won Awesomess(Scgs ppl) 3-1 to cling the 1st position!

(Yay! Must continue the tradition next year too!!!!)

Wasabi(our second group) sadly lost the rgsquash 1-3 but they did really well and displayed the MG fighting spirit so we're equally proud of them:D They won 4th position.

I was especially impressed with Joanne's match. She really fought hard. She was 1-0 down and the other girl was winning the second game but she managed to get it back and win the match 2-1. congrats!

HEY EVERYONE.

I feel so funny posting, but anyways, I shall post about today.
The C Div girls played in the Reserve League today. And the good news is all of us won our matches! (: The team MG SQUASH won RGS today. It was a tough match especially for Deborah who played against their best player. The team WASABI (kudos to Sabina and Amanda for the name :D ) played against the ACJC girls. They came and hour late, but we didn't walkover the match because Mr. Lee told us that it was for the experience. (: It was probably their first time playing.

Nationals ended last week for the C and B division. Here are the results:

C Div: Second Place!

B Div: Third Place!

Start of Nationals

Hey ppl. I know hardly anyone comes here...But I'm still gonna post anyway. The start of Nationals was a few days ago! Here are the results...

C div: Won NYGS, 5-0 (Tues)
B div: Lost to RGS, score unsure (Mon)
Played against FMSS, score and win/loss unsure (wed)

Gd job C div! And B div, you can do it! Dun give up or get disheartened over the loss! Anw, I'll update again for the next few nationals matches. DOESN'T ANYONE EVER COME HERE ANYMORE? Heys Everyone. The winner for the friendly with RGS(C div) on 20th Feb is....... MGSQUASHIES! Good job everyone! Even though we won, we can't be too confident of ourselves. MUST CONTINUE TO TRAIN HARD! 23 more days till NATIONALS(C div) begin! All the best ppl. Oh.
